• On October 26th, 2016, I organized a special talk which took place at NYU ITP about Spirituality and Virtual Technologies. A meditation master and spiritual healer from South Korea, VR philosopher, and clinical psychologist attended the talk. At this event, they discussed the future of meditation and applicable technologies. Specifically, they explored how to both simulate the spiritual healer’s special ability with current technology, and help mental health therapists better understand and empathize with their clients. 

 

      We also explored what things could be like in 2046 and the three experts shared their           

      individual insights of the advancement of technology and our relationship with them. For me

      and many of my peers it was the first time we could consider the possibilities surrounding

      meditation and virtual reality, so it was a very valuable experience.
